How to use the map
Start with work that repeats.
Pick a job you do each week or month. Keep final approval, live ads, public posts, and customer messages out of the test. Write "unknown" when you need help from your manager, IT team, or another reviewer.
This map does not approve a tool or replace your company's review.
1. Choose the opportunity
Pick a strong first job.
Ask how much owner time the change could save. Then ask how much harm a wrong action could cause. Start small when the upside is useful and the harm is low.

2. Map the job
Write one opportunity row.
Answer each prompt for the same job. Use a made-up sample for the first test.

Where does it get stuck?
Where does time go? What can go wrong or sit and wait?
4. Small test
What can you test?
What can you try on one made-up sample? What must a person check?
5. Proof and stop
How will you judge it?
What will you record? What will make you stop?
3. Fence the test
Make the first run easy to review.
A small first run needs four clear parts.

Have a person compare the result with the source.

Take no live action. Keep the test easy to discard.
